If a force $\vec{F}$ acts on an object such that its lever arm is zero, does it have any effect on the object’s motion? Explain.
参考答案: If the lever arm is zero, then the
force does not exert any torque and so cannot produce an angular
acceleration. There will be no change in
the angular state of motion. However,
the force will add to the net force on the body and so will change the linear
acceleration of the body. The body’s
linear state of motion will change.
