Both Amand and Padmavathi must be heterozygous because their daughter has inherited two ‘i’ alleles.

Amand’s genotype is $l^{A}i$. & Padmavathi genotype is $l^{B}i$.

Blood group is an autosomal gene, it is not sex-linked/not affected by gender.

The probability of their son having blood group 0 is 25% (1/4, 0.4)
