The buoyant force on the aluminum sphere is the weight of the water displaced by the sphere, which is the volume of the sphere times the density of water times g.  As the substances are heated, the volume of the sphere increases and the density of the water decreases.  Since the volume expansion coefficient of the water is almost three times larger than that of the aluminum, the fractional decrease in the water density is larger than the fractional increase in the aluminum volume.  Thus the product of the volume of the sphere times the density of water decreases, and the buoyant force gets smaller.
