5. Invertase is a hydrolysing enzyme which hydrolyses the disaccharide sucrose into the monosaccharides glucose and fructose. In an investigation,$10 cm^3$of 1% invertase was added to$10 cm^3$of 1% sucrose in a$50cm^3$ beaker. Every minute, the concentration of glucose was measured using a glucose meter which directly reads the concentration of glucose in a solution in $mmol/dm^3$.
